Course Description
ACT1 and ACT2: Basic fundamentals of accounting and their applications to the sole proprietorship with the use of accounting tools and techniques. This course includes the completion of a business simulation practice kit and the use of electronic calculators. ACT2 is an extension of the material in ACT1 including the voucher system and accounting for partnerships and corporations.
ACT3: Last in the sequence of Accounting courses. The course will serve to complete and reinforce the cycle of accounting.
BSL1: A survey of the American legal system: principles governing everyday business situations in tort, criminal law, contracts and sales.
BSM1: Introductory survey course acquainting students with business, small and large, profit or not-for-profit.
DP1: Introduction to basic data processing concepts and their applications via lecture and laboratory activities.
BSEG1: This course is designed to strengthen fundamental English grammar and punctuation skills with a focus on various types and formats of business correspondence.
PL1: This course is designed to enlighten the student about the world of work. It will aid in self-assesment and help clarify career goals. Effective resume writing and preparation for job interviews are emphasized.
